Hoy comparto la tarjetita que les hice a mis padres para su aniversario #50. Me estuve debatiendo entre una tarjeta formal y bien elegante o una graciosa y con mis colores habituales. En mi caso, ganó el humor y los colores alegres ya que representan mejor nuestra cultura familiar. Además que mami es bien refranera y el mensaje de esta tarjeta se me pareció a uno que siempre me decía en la época en que estaba en la búsqueda de mi victima (en otras palabras, mi amado esposito)… “Nena…. El mejor hombre no ha nacido….. y del matrimonio no se ha escrito nada que valga la pena leer jajajaj!!! Mi madre es una mujer sabia y brillante!!!

Today I share with you the actual card I made for my parents on their 50th anniversary. I was debating between a formal and elegant card or a bright and funny one with my usual style. My funny side took over since it’s the perfect match to our family culture. My mother is always using funny quotes and the one I used in this card is similar to those she always told me when I was looking for a victim (meaning my DH lol). She always was telling me… “The best man don’t live … and there is nothing written about the marriage that’s worth reading” My mother is a very wise and intelligent woman LOL!
